Team Work

It was a sports stadium.

Eight Children were standing on the track to participate in a running event.

* Ready! * Steady! * Bang !!!

With the sound of Toy pistol,

All eight girls started running. Hardly had they covered ten to fifteen steps, when one of the smaller girls slipped and fell down, Due to bruises and pain she started crying.

When the other seven girls heard the little girl cry they stopped running, stood for a while and turned back.

Seeing the girl on the track they all ran to help. One among them bent down, picked her up and kissed her gently And enquired as to how she was. They then lifted the fallen girl pacifying her.

Two of them held her firmly while all seven joined hands together and walked together towards the winning post...

There was pin drop silence at the spectator's stand.

Officials were shocked.

Slow claps multiplied to thousands as the spectators stood up in appreciation. Many eyes were filled with tears

YES. This happened in Hyderabad [INDIA], recently!

The sport was conducted by National Institute of Mental Health.

All these special girls had come to participate in this event They were spastic children.

Yes, they were Mentally Challenged.

What did they teach the WORLD?

Teamwork?

Humanity?

Equality among all??

We can't do this ever because we have brains!

This is really a great message... Spread it!

High Blood Pressure Remedies | Treatments for Hypertension

"Blood pressure" is the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps out blood. If this pressure rises and stays high over time, it can damage the body in many ways. Hypertension or high blood pressure, as it is more commonly known, is regarded as a silent killer. It is a disease of the modern age. The fast pace of life and the mental and physical
pressures caused by the increasingly industrialised and metropolitan environments have a role to play in the rise in blood pressure. Blood pressure is measured with an instrument called sphygnomanometer in millimetres of mercury. The highest pressure reached during each heart beat is called systolic pressure, and the lowest between two beat is known as diastolic pressure. Most young adults have blood pressure around 120/80. It increases normally with age, even going upto 160/90.

Blood Pressure Causes:

* A regularly high intake of salt (exceeding 6 grams per day).

* Excessively drinking alcohol (more than 2 drinks per day).

* Regularly consuming large amounts of caffeine.

* Obesity, since the heart has to pump more blood to supply the excess tissue.

* Lack of aerobic exercise (such as walking, jogging, biking, or swimming).

Symptoms of high blood pressure:

Symptom of hypertension may appear as a pain at the back of the head and neck on waking in the morning, which soon disappears.

Home remedies for high blood pressure:

* Mix juice of onion and pure honey in equal quantity. Taken two spoons of this mixture once a day is an effective remedy for high blood pressure. Take for about a week. Upon noticing improvement, take for few more days as needed.

* Honey soothes the nerves and is also helpful in lowering the high blood pressure.

* Eat empty stomach one Papita (Papaya) everyday for one month. Do not take anything after this for at least two hours.

* Take four leaves of Basil and two leaves of Neem (Margosa) and grind them with four spoons of water. Take this ground mixture empty stomach with a glass of water.

* Always use polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats instead of hydrogenated fats.. Ghee and butter prepared from cow’s milk can be given. Avoid buffalo milk.

* Fruits like bananas, oranges, guavas and apples are good in high blood pressure.

* Also try to avoid red meats. But white meats, especially fish are beneficial in lowering blood pressure.

* Do exercise and yoga regularly. They will help in reducing body weight, regulating heart beat and thus controlling high blood pressure.

* Take dry water melon seeds and make its powder form. This powder can be taken 1-2 tablespoon in a glass of water.

* Carrot and spinach are also helpful in reducing high blood pressure. Extract fresh juice from carrot and spinach and drink a glass of it twice a day.

हम भगवद गीता क्यों पढ़ते हैं ?

An old Farmer lived on a farm in the mountains with his young
grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen
table reading his Bhagavat Geeta.

His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in
every way he could.

One day the grandson asked, 'Grandpa! I try to read the Bhagavat Geeta
just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I
forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the
Bhagavat Geeta do?'

The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and
replied, 'Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a
basket of water.'

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got
back to the house.

The grandfather laughed and said, 'You'll have to move a little faster
next time,' and sent him back to the river with the basket to try
again.

This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he
returned home.

Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry
water in basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.
The old man said, 'I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of
water. You're just not trying hard enough,' and he went out the door
to watch the boy try again.

At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show
his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water
would leak out before he got back to the house.
The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he
reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he
said, 'See Grandpa, it's useless!'
'So you think it is useless?' The old man said, 'Look at the basket.'
The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the
basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal
basket and was now clean, inside and out.

'Son, that's what happens when you read the Bhagavat Geeta. You might
not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will
be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Krishna in our lives.

The Reason Why I Love You

Lady: Why do you like me? Why do you love me?

Man : I can't tell the reason... But I really like you...

Lady: You can't even tell me the reason... How can you say you like me? How can you say you love me?

Man : I really don't know the reason, but I can prove that I love you.

Lady: Proof ? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend's boyfriend can tell her why he loves her, but not you!

Man : OK...OK !!! Erm...because you are beautiful, because your voice is sweet, because you are caring, because you are loving, because you are thoughtful, because of your smile, because of your graceful movements...

Unfortunately, a few days later, the Lady met with an accident and went in comma. The Guy placed a letter by her side, and here is the content :

Dearest,

I loved you because of your sweet voice ...Now can u talk? No! Therefore I can't love u.

I liked you because of your care and concern ... Now that you can't show them, therefore I can't love u.

I loved you because of your smile, because of your grceful movements...

Now can you smile? Now can you move? No. Therefore I can't love u...

If love needs a reason, there is no reason for me to love you anymore.

Does love need a reason?

No! Therefore, I still love you... And love doesn't need a reason...
